I’m a single mother, a lover of all things vintage, and the founder of Babybug, where sustainable and timeless styles for children is at the heart of everything I do.

Fashion has always been in my blood. Growing up, I was raised by a mother who effortlessly pulled together outfits that were both chic and timeless. She had a unique way of making even the simplest pieces look extraordinary—whether it was a wacky-patterned dress or a beautifully hand-crafted scarf, she always made sure her clothes told a story. Watching her, I learned that fashion wasn’t just about following trends, but about expressing who you are. And it wasn’t long before I too became obsessed with the idea of finding pieces that felt personal, that had history, and that would stand the test of time.

As I became a mother myself, I realized that I wanted to bring that same sense of style and thoughtfulness that I grew up with to my child’s wardrobe. Throughout the last two beautifully challenging years since my daughter was born, I also realized how much my life—and my perspective—was shifting. Sleepless nights, baby giggles, and the chaos of being a parent became my world. Amid all the newness, I also found a stronger sense of purpose: to take charge of my life, to build something meaningful, and to show my child that dreams don’t stop after becoming a mom—they evolve! And so Babybug was born.

Here at Babybug, I carefully curate handpicked vintage pieces that speak to a more sustainable way of shopping. In my search for clothes that were affordable and special, I discovered a growing movement in fashion: a shift toward more sustainable, mindful shopping. I started diving into vintage clothing—pieces that are not only better for the planet but also have a timeless charm that fast fashion can’t replicate. I realized that I could not only curate a collection of beautiful, gently loved items for my own child, but I could take part in a movement that’s invested in showing kindness to the Earth.
